Itinerary:

Day 1 - 23 Dec
Following your arrival in Lapland you will be transferred and accommodated in your chosen log cabin or hotel. Overgarments and boots will also be allocated this evening. Evening dinner.

Day 2 - 24 Dec
Will today be the day you find Santa? Your adventure is planned for today using a combination of Skidoos, husky dogs and reindeer. It is to be hoped that Donner and Blitzen will give your scouts advice as to Santa's location but fear not, if you do not find him today you are sure to track him down on Christmas Day when he returns from his worldwide task. Lunch will be taken at an outside venue. This evening, back at Luosto, a superb traditional Finnish Christmas buffet dinner will be served.

Day 3 - 25 Dec
An open air Christmas church service will be held at Luosto early in the morning, illuminated by ice lanterns and log torches. After the service you repair for a hearty breakfast before continuing your search for Santa. This will be a unique chance for children to receive a present and to meet Santa Claus on Christmas Day, the very day by tradition that he delivers gifts to all homes throughout the land. Skidoos, reindeer and huskies will once again be used, and an outside lunch provided in an appropriate location. Tonight you enjoy a typical Festive spread, enhanced with traditional favourites like mince pies, stilton, christmas cake and christmas pudding.

Day 4 - 26 Dec
A relaxing day is planned for today. You may choose to go skiing (either slalom or cross-country) or to visit a nearby activity centre where a range of activities will be provided in a very relaxed manner. Activities here will include skidoo slalom competitions, tobogganing and mini ice-based competitions. One of these competitions could even be the chance to light a fire in the Arctic. Once again a typical outdoor meal will be served and lunch is only available at the activity centre. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner recounting the day’s experiences to your newfound friends.

Day 5 - 27 Dec
A choice of activities is offered for your final morning here in Luosto. Join in our mini snow games where you can try your hand at our tug of war competition. Alternatively, ice skate to musical accompaniment, simply enjoy the pleasures of tobogganing, or relax and enjoy the resort facilities. Lunch will be taken in Luosto and there will be the opportunity to buy some souvenirs of Lapland before transferring back for your return flight to the UK.
