Lyrical Lapland - 4 Days (3 Nights)

Ever wondered how to fill in that gap between Christmas and New Year Celebrations? Then look no further than our 3 night adventure holiday to Olos or Salla in Finnish Lapland. Whilst others might have the pleasure of eating the remainder of the turkey and settling into tv repeats one can be upbeat away in the Arctic being the real adventurer and enjoying reindeer, huskies and snowmobiles. The setting is ideal too ensuring quality no matter which style of accommodation you select. Whether it’s rustic cabins, superb apartments or outstanding bungalows or simply hotel accommodation that you choose you are certain not to be disappointed.

Day 1 - 27th December: Following you arrival in Lapland one transfers to the resort of Olos or Salla and on to your chosen accommodation. Evening dinner will be provided in the restaurant.

Day 2 - 28th December: A relaxed start to the day with a Finnish buffet breakfast following which we depart for a day of adventure to enjoy reindeer, huskies and snowmobiles. Lunch will be taken at an outdoor venue.This evening enjoy a meal recounting the day’s experiences to your new found friends.

Day 3 - 29th December: A day of further adventure at an outside location involving a full programme of reindeer, huskies and snowmobiles with challenges undertaken in accordance with the level of ability shown. Once again lunch will be taken at an outdoor setting.This evening enjoy a farewell dinner in the restaurant.

Day 4 - 30th December: A choice of activities are offered for the morning
including down hill (slalom) or cross country skiing, ice fishing and other snow
based activities. Lunch will be taken in the hotel and an opportunity provided to buy some traditional souvenirs en route to the airport before joining your return flight to the United Kingdom.

A visit to Santa Claus.
Christmas has passed and Santa will be resting following his arduous duties. He nevertheless always welcomes children visiting his homeland. As one of the afternoon children’s entertainment activities a visit directly to his cabin in the middle of the snowy forest will be arranged for any interested parties. Reservations need to be made on your arrival night at the resort. Please note Santa’s elves are resting and therefore do not appear on this tour.
