Combining a traditional atmosphere with
Lappish luxuries, the Taivaanvalkeat House is located approximately
8 km from the centre of Levi, on the river banks of Ounasjoki
and offers the ideal accommodation for groups or large families
who are looking for something new and different to experience.
Surrounded by the enchanting nature of Lapland with traditional
rustic decor this property gives a real insight into typical
Finnish traditions and style and places its emphasis on social
gatherings and group activities. The large lounge areas offer
a place to gather together and relax at the end of the day
before maybe taking a sauna to rejuvenate after a day of fun
snow activities.
The property itself is well known for its excellent cuisine
on offer with many groups coming here to experience it. As
guests of Taivaanvalkeat, all meals will be taken in the main
house and will be specially prepared for you and your party.
Cuisine is tasy and filling and is traditionally Lappish and
for snacks and warm drinks in between activities, a coffee
shop can be found in the Elves' Cottage located just next
door to Taivaanvalkeat House. The complex also offers a great
range of activities.
On the ground floor the property has eight twin rooms for
a maximum of two people, with three wash rooms with a shower,
and the upper floor consists of four rooms for a maximum of
three people, with two washrooms with shower. Each room is
furnished in a quaint 'new England' style with simple wooden
decor and creating a characterful atmosphere.
Hotel facilites include two large lounge areas, cafe and verandah,
electric sauna, dressing room and jacuzzi (jacuzzi and riverbank
sauna at local charge), six shared showers and wcs. All rooms
have twin beds with simple furnishings.

adult bookings are not allowed.
